Just got a text from Fiona who is planning the day trip with Mary, they have looked at all angles and arrived at this which they believe is the best and cheapest option for a day trip. Prices are based on Ryanair sale prices and the sale ends tonight!!;

May 24th Thursday flying with Ryan air

Depart Shannon at 6.30 am, arrive in London 7.50 pm

Going home from a different London airport of Gatwick at 21.25, arrive Shannon at 22.50.
